About 20 years ago, following a road traffic accident, I had considerable pain and discomfort in my neck. Not wanting to take medication for a long period, I registered at Bridgend Osteopathic Clinic to be treated by Mr. Ian Griffiths, Registered Osteopath. During my first appointment, my symptoms were carefully and professionally recorded, and I was made aware of clinic procedures and treatment costs.

Dear Ian, I wanted to write to thank you for the treatment I have received from you over the past 2 years.
After visiting several different professionals from orthopaedic surgeons to acupuncturists (and everyone in between!) a colleague of mine recommended you for my chronic back pain.
I have been a patient of Ian Griffiths for at least the past five years. I first sought treatment for chronic pain after a prolapsed disc; and subsequently he has also successfully treated my tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis and headaches following a head injury.
Osteopathy at the Felinfoel practice of Ian Griffiths, we have found invaluable over the years, in rectifying both minor, run of the mill injuries and more complicated physical problems, trauma’s and pain relief.
I have been having treatment at Ian Griffiths Osteopathic Clinic for chronic neck pain caused originally by a slipped disc. Despite receiving treatment at the hospital for some time my condition did not improve
Over the past years I have had the necessity to visit Ian on three separate occasions and without fail the treatment resolved my symptoms completely. Ian is a very friendly professional who finds the root of the problem very quickly
I have seen a range of chiropractors, physiotherapists and osteopaths over the years for persistent back pain and related problems. Following treatment and advice from Ian my back problems have been treated with 100% success.

I have been under Ian’s care for almost 10 years. It started with a problem with my lower back whilst playing tennis. I saw an orthopaedic consultant and even with the recommended traction and physiotherapy over a 3-4 month period, I was still in a lot of discomfort. The librarian in our hospital noticed my slight limp and discomfort and recommended seeing Ian Griffiths.
I first went to Ian Griffiths clinic many years ago, by way of a recommendation, with a back and neck problem with associated degenerative arthritis, diagnosed by my doctor who prescribed pain relief tablets.
I am an office worker who spends long hours, in a stressful job, at the computer or driving. I used to suffer greatly from migraines and back, neck and shoulder pain and having tried high doses of painkillers, I began seeing Ian.
Having suffered for 20+ years of problems with my neck, 3 Thoracic Outlet Decompression operations, numerous hospital appointments, physiotherapy sessions and up to 8 extra strong pain killers a day and being told there was nothing more they could do, I decided as a last resort to try Osteopathy.
I have been to Ian Griffiths Osteopath Clinic, on various occasions, for a number of years and have always found Ian and his team to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
I have struggled for the best part of l0 years with my knees. My movement had become limited with regard to bending down on the floor, walking up stairs and doing basic movements such as squatting in the gym. I went to my GP who referred me for a scan. Nothing came back from the result so I was sent to a physiotherapist. I was sent away with a series of exercises and no real explanation as to what was wrong.
I have been a patient of Ian’s for a long time. He has helped me recover from plantar fascia, twisted knee, seized jaw muscles and 2 years ago from a problem when I wasn’t able to stand and struggled to walk.
Osteopathy combines the best of modern medical science with a holistic approach that works with the customer’s needs and seeks to provide the right environment to enable faster healing, ease the pain in chronic conditions and promote better health.
I have been using Ian Griffith’s Bridgend Osteopath Clinic, when needed, for many years, firstly with chronic lower back and sciatica pain and then over the years treatment on my neck, knee, ankle and hip, the treatment is always highly effective and allows me the confidence that I can continue to walk miles of coastal path I enjoy.
I have had severe M.E./Fibromyalgia CF5 for over 25 years. I have found regular treatments with Ian invaluable in managing my symptoms and pain. His knowledge, holistic and gentle approach really helps me. I would highly recommend him to anyone else with these conditions.

Having treatment with Ian every six to eight weeks helps me greatly. I feel that without it I would not be able to keep working as a window cleaner.
I have played sport all my life, particularly squash and cricket (keeping wicket), but the constant bending and jarring over a prolonged period resulted in severe sciatica and back pain by the age of 40.
I have been going to Ian’s Osteopathic clinic in Llanelli at various times for over l0 years. I first went with a chronic bad back which was a result of my job as a Nurse.
Fast forward l0+ years and I have a confirmed MRI diagnoses of severe Degenerative Disc Disease in both my lower back and neck, complete with bulging discs and fibromyalgia.

What a brilliant osteopath. Ian has greatly reduced the pain and discomfort I have suffered over the past two years. I always feel so much more relaxed after treatments. I can highly recommend him.
Ian diagnosed and quickly and successfully treated a long-term problem resulting from a motor accident. He was recommended by a friend and his treatment has not only helped significantly improve my day-to-day quality of life, his additional advice and guidance on specific exercises has been highly beneficial.
I have always led an active non-work life, largely to minimise the (waistline!) effects of a deskbound working life!
I am writing this testimonial on behalf of my local Osteopath, Mr. Ian Griffiths and would also intend for this to serve as a general testimony for the profession as a whole.
I have visited the Ian Griffiths practice for many years and make appointments as and when I consider necessary in order to gain treatment and advice in relation to my back problems.
I have regular treatments with Ian. He has alleviated a long standing lower back problem for me and as I get older he helps to prevent occasional pains in knees, back or neck from becoming deep seated. He always knows where to find the root of the problem. His gentle treatment is effective and I feel totally safe in his expert hands.
